Launch day failures are almost never dramatic — they are a contact form that silently fails, a staging site that stays indexed, a pixel that never fired. This is the checklist we run before any client site goes live.

Security & Infrastructure

SSL installed and forced site-wide. The www / non-www versions redirect to one canonical home. A custom 404 page exists and helps. Backups are automatic, and you know where they live.

SEO Foundations

Unique title tags and meta descriptions on every page — generate and preview them with the free meta tool. XML sitemap submitted to Search Console. Robots.txt allows crawling (staging blocks left on are a classic). Organization schema present.

"Nobody notices a perfect launch. Everybody notices the form that never sent their enquiry."

Measurement

Analytics installed and receiving data — verified, not assumed. Conversion events defined for forms, calls, and WhatsApp clicks. Ad pixels installed before campaigns, so audiences build from day one.

The Human Tests

Submit every form yourself and confirm the email arrives. Call the phone number on the site. Complete a purchase with a real card if you sell online. Read the whole site on your phone, on mobile data, in sunlight.

AEO & AI Visibility

Direct answers in first sentences, FAQ schema matching visible questions, consistent business details everywhere. Then paste your key pages through the content analyzer and run the diagnostic as your final gate — if either flags something, launch waits a day. A day late is forgotten; a broken launch is screenshotted.
